I like the clingy, thoughtful Mason and not THIS Mason. DON’T GET ME WRONG, he treats her well but… with less affectation compared to the way he is in the other book. I don’t like this Mason and how he treats her. Mason is less sweet with Samantha in this book too. I don’t like the idea of Samantha being friends with the Elites. What I loved about this book is that Analise is a less whackjob person in this book, that Sam has better relationship with her biological dad and that she lives in her dad’s house in this book. This is still a good read, but if this were to be compared to Fallen Crest Family, I would hands down prefer Fallen Crest Family over this. I AM so relieved that this IS not the second book in the installment!! The original chapters are still posted for free reading.
